Having an in game shop is a great way to earn XP and be part of the fun without fighting, battles or politics. They give the character a chance to grow their stories and such in a dynamic environment that adds true realism to the games we love to play.
To start a shop one should have some basic things like a table and wooden chairs. The key here is to make everything look medieval so cover up all the plastic and modern things with furs, skins, blankets, wooden signs etc.
A neat trick to hide your hangers if you have clothing is to crochet them up to hide the hangers like the ones we use in the our shop.

As you can see these make great additional to any set or game!
You want to make sure you have things characters would want to buy with either in game coin or actual money (depending on what you are allowed to do). It is best to ask your game Elders what and how to set up shop so you get the most exposure. Heck, you might even get to play a part in the plot lines and earn additional XP that way too!
