LarpCraft is LIVE!

Greetings and welcome people of LarpCraft! Many changes are taking place in LarpCraft and we are now accepting applications for new Realms and Elders (Admins). This information is found on the home page under the LarpCraft Game System. We currently have 4 realms with many requests for new realms each day.

Waiver - By filling out the new online waiver, you will get a free achievement to your profile (that's half a level). This waiver has changed last week due to our law firm suggestions and landowner insurance policy. Please, fill this form out if you haven't this week since all the waiver achievements have been wiped from all accounts.

Rule Book - The rule book version 1.0 is now done. It is also posted in our game system tab. Free to look at. The forum scrolls are also up now for rule changes and suggestions, so if you see something that could work better or expanded upon, post your thoughts! Our first expansion to the book will be slated for Spring.

Elders and Chief Elders - These are your admins. Each realm has a chief admin and many elders. The Elder training is up now in the game system tab is live. All Elders must pass a criminal background check and there is a small fee for this. We only want serious Elders applying for this voluntary admin position. Since they become the face of LarpCraft locally, we want to be sure we have quality people running games.

Character Transfer - Want to bring in your character from another game system? Now you can.

Reset Character - Want to try a different race and class? Now you can reset your achievements and get all your XP back to make this hapen.

Insurance / Waivers and law team - It is a necessary evil to have these protections in place. Landowners usually require insurance t one point or another and now we can provide this. This is paid for and only available to our realms in our tracking program.  This protection is in place to protect our promoters, clubs, groups, landowners etc. If you need more information on this, let us know.

Grant Program - We are working with BattleStuff.com to administer a unique LARP grant program to help new promoters get the needed equipment, advertising / marketing and advise on hosting successful games. To date we have given out over $2,000 worth of product, advertising and support to LARP groups.

Videos- Since our YouTube channel became active in April of last year, we have had over 118,000 views, almost 800 followers and nearly 8,000 friends. It is getting LarpCraft and our groups massive exposure. Our most popular videos each week are the "How-TO LARP videos. We are seeing about 800-1200 views per day via our almost 130 videos. We would like to thank VirtuRock Productions for the help making these videos and providing us with a studio.

www.larpcast.com - our blog area LarpCast is now over 6,000 views and we are working with other LARP folks to increase LARP ideas across many game systems.

All in all we are pleased that our system is now up and growing. We are working hard every day to improve our program and we also are coming up with a video rulebook too.
